Position: Title Transfer & Municipal Documentation Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Employment: Contract - Project

Industry: Landscaping

Hours: M-F (on-site/hybrid) - open to Hours

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 DOE

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Transfer & Municipal Documentation Specialist to manage vehicle and property title transfer processes while ensuring compliance with courthouse, municipal, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has experience working with county courthouses, municipal offices, and government agencies, and is skilled at preparing, reviewing, and processing legal and administrative documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and coordinate title transfers accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, review, and submit required documentation to county courthouses, tax offices, and municipal agencies.
  • Ensure all title transfer paperwork complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Communicate with courthouse personnel, municipal offices, and other government entities to resolve documentation issues.
  • Verify ownership records, legal documents, and supporting paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organized records of all title transactions and related documentation.
  • Monitor application status and follow up on outstanding requests or corrections.
  • Assist customers, clients, or internal departments by answering questions regarding title transfer requirements and documentation.
  • Stay current on changes to municipal regulations, courthouse procedures, and title processing requirements.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience processing title transfers or working in a title-related administrative role.
  • Experience working with county courthouses, municipal offices, or other government agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of title transfer procedures, legal documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive, property, or lien/title industry.
  • Familiarity with DMV, county tax office, and municipal filing procedures.
  • Experience resolving title discrepancies and documentation issues.
  • Bilingual (preferred but not required).
