Job Opportunity – Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant – Regional Healthcare Facility

Schedule: Weekend call coverage – Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call). Three weekends per month required. Average callback and rounding approximately 4 hours per day.

Requirements:

• Active PA license (state-specific or IMLC/LOQ)
• DEA registration required
• Board certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of physician assistant experience
• Acute care certification not required
• Clean credentialing file; malpractice history will be reviewed (settlements over $500K or more than 3 settlements may be disqualifying unless cases are over 20 years old)
• Completion of health requirements including vaccines, physical examination, and fit testing
