Our client is a full-service steel fabricator serving a wide range of commercial and industrial customers. From structural steel for multi-story buildings to custom fabricated components, they take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and dependable service.  

Candidates should be prepared to complete to following before starting:

• Resume review and client interview
• Tape measure test
• Weld test during interview
• Physical examination
• 75-pound lift test through Med-1

Steel Fabricator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 03:30pm to 04:00am )

• Fabricate structural steel according to specifications and blueprints
• Perform layout, fitting, and welding operations
• Measure and mark materials using a tape measure
• Lift, position, and move workpieces during fabrication processes
• Load, stack, and transport materials using cranes and other equipment
• Attach chains, clamps, and rigging for material handling
• Operate overhead cranes 
• Clean and grind metal prior to welding, painting, or shipment

Steel Fabricator Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of structural steel fabrication experience
• Experience with layout, fitting, and welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong tape measure and math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Strong work ethic and attendance record
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
