Job Description

Pay:-$40-60/Hr IICIT01

Duration: 2 years

Travel: Approximately 10% for project meetings, interested party engagement, and site visits

Location: Remote with travel across upstate NY - up to 10%

Typical Week Responsibilities

• Regular check-ins with Kristen and the broader Sun and Soil team
• Managing ATWG facilitation, technical, and outreach contractors across multiple workstreams
• Coordinating ATWG meetings (full group + working groups/specialist committees): agenda development, fostering productive discussion
• Reviewing and providing feedback on contractor and ATWG materials
• Workflow management via Asana , Teams, and email
• Keeping NYSERDA and other state agency staff informed on ATWG activities
• Supporting Sun and Soil solicitations and project management (scope evolves seasonally based on program cycle)

Candidate Requirements

Experience

• 2 3+ years of practical working experience; not entry-level
• Must be capable of managing a group of non-junior stakeholders

Education

• Minimum bachelor's degree : no specific discipline required - wide range of backgrounds welcomed

Key Skills (Top 3)

1. Strong communication and collaboration - written, verbal, and comfort presenting to groups (primarily virtual)
2. Multitasking and relationship management - juggling varied tasks across a complex stakeholder set
3. Agricultural familiarity - knowledge of NY agriculture, players, and policy context is strongly preferred over energy experience
