Job Description

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for an On-site Entry-Level Inventory Assistant. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, supporting inventory audits, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse and inventory operations.

The Inventory Assistant will work closely with warehouse staff, purchasing teams, and operations managers to track inventory, update records, coordinate stock movement, and support daily inventory activities in an on-site work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Perform routine inventory counts and cycle audits
  • Update inventory databases and tracking systems
  • Prepare inventory and stock movement reports
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities
  • Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and report issues
  • Label, organize, and store products properly
  • Support inventory replenishment and stock transfers
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory area
  • Perform additional inventory and operational duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, retail, inventory, administration, or related roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to learn inventory management software
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment
  • Reliable, dependable, and proactive attitude
