Join Our Client as a CAD Designer in Fairport, NY a pioneer in precision technology! We seek a pro with an Associate degree/cert, 3+ years' Creo experience, and GD&T expertise to design custom tooling and 3D models. Elevate your career with a global industry giant!

responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings using Creo for parts, assemblies, and tooling in strict compliance with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards.

• Design specialized tooling, fixtures, and hardware to optimize grinding, polishing, and metrology operations in precision optics production.

• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles across traditional machining and FDM 3D printing to deliver practical engineering solutions.

• Maintain drawing release packages and revision controls, managing models and documentation to ensure strict configuration management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and metrology specialists, to translate concepts into production hardware.
