Job Title: AP Staff Accountant

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a AP Staff Accountant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Direct Hire opportunity is located in Chester Springs, PA and requires an Onsite work arrangement. The position offers the chance to play a vital role in day to day accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting activities that help drive informed business decisions. Ideal candidates will enjoy working collaboratively across departments while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.

Compensation:
$55,000 - $60,000/year

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours typically 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST with flexible start time

Key Responsibilities of the AP Staff Accountant:

• Oversee invoice review, account coding, and payment processing to maintain accuracy and support efficient financial operations.
• Coordinate communication with external parties to address account inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive business relationships.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by assisting with workflow enhancements and identifying opportunities to optimize payment processes.
• Analyze financial records and perform reconciliations to help ensure accurate account balances and reliable reporting.
• Deliver general accounting support through month end activities, financial analysis, and participation in special assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the AP Staff Accountant:

• Experience supporting accounts payable and general accounting activities within a professional business environment.
• Ability to accurately code financial transactions and work with general ledger accounts and cost allocation structures.
• Strong reconciliation and problem solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Proficiency using accounting software and standard business applications with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
