Are you a hands-on mechanical expert with a knack for troubleshooting? We are looking for a skilled Mold Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be the backbone of the production floor, ensuring our injection and blow molding machines are prepped, maintained, and running at peak efficiency.

salary: $39,520 - $54,080 per year

work hours: 2:30 PM - 11 PM

Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Changeovers: Load, position, and install molds into thermoplastic injection and blow molding machines. Perform full changeovers according to the production schedule.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical connections, and water lines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Build and repair structural foam injection nozzles and perform preventive maintenance on molds and secondary equipment (heat and water temperature controllers).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate changeover sheets and maintenance logs to ensure process consistency.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills: strong general mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, thermodynamics, and electricity.
- Experience: Proven experience in mold/machine maintenance and the injection molding process.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility: Must be available for assigned overtime to ensure continuous production coverage.
